Capital on Tap renews partnership with GDS Link
By Gloria Methri
Capital on Tap, an all-in-one small business credit card and spend management platform, has renewed its multi-year partnership with GDS Link. This partnership will further enhance Capital on Tap’s in-house credit risk decisioning capabilities as the company scales its proprietary risk models across the UK and the US.
Since its launch in 2012, Capital on Tap has served over 200,000 small business customers and facilitated over £10 billion in spending. Building on the success of the Capital on Tap Business Credit Card, the company recently unveiled Preloading.
This new feature allows UK cardholders to augment their credit line by leveraging their funds, creating a flexible hybrid financing model.
As Capital on Tap continues to scale, its partnership with GDS Link adds an extra layer of enhancement to its automated decisioning processes. Capital on Tap’s proprietary modelling and analytics capabilities, developed through extensive in-house data science and credit risk expertise, will be further optimised with GDS Link’s platform.
Hugh Acland, Chief Commercial Officer at Capital on Tap, said, “By continuing our partnership with GDS Link, we can further enhance serving small businesses in the UK and the US by scaling our in-house risk modelling, decisioning and analytics processes on their platform. This synergy amplifies our ability to leverage cutting-edge technology alongside our proprietary data science and credit risk expertise, driving sustained growth while delivering exceptional service to our customers.”
GDS Link, a global leader in credit risk management solutions, currently processes over a billion decisions yearly for clients across 46 countries, including Santander, Shawbrook Bank, Sella Personal Credit, TymeBank, LendingClub and Best Egg.
Paul Thomas, Chief Revenue Officer at GDS Link, said, “Continuing our collaboration with Capital on Tap signifies a great step globally. They are a valued partner and a leading example of how the short-term credit puzzle can be solved for many underserved small businesses. I’m delighted we’ve extended this long-term commitment to support their UK and US growth strategies. They’ll continue to leverage our leading credit risk decisioning and data analytics platform alongside our combined expertise.”
