GiftRound selects Mangopay to process all payment flows

GiftRound is strengthening its partnership with Mangopay, tapping into its modular payment infrastructure capabilities to offer a seamless payment experience to users.

Founded in 2018, GiftRound is a specialist platform for group gift collections. Since partnering with Mangopay at the point of inception, it has processed over £10.5 million via more than 75,000 money pots.

Managing payment flows is at the core of GiftRound’s offering. With more than 800,00 users and 125 GiftRounds created daily, the company needed a robust payment provider with expertise in crowdfunding to process complex payment flows.

With Mangopay’s API, GiftRound can ensure the security of money collection, fraud prevention, and anti-money laundering. Mangopay also provides KYC processes alongside secure and diverse payment methods.

GiftRound will also utilise Mangopay’s e-wallet modular technology, adding a further layer of protection and security ahead of the dispersing of funds to the end receiver. This functionality will provide flexible and scalable pay-in and pay-out capabilities which are critical for the platform.
