Paytm enhances Soundboxes for UPI and Credit Card on UPI payments

Both new Paytm Soundboxes have 4G network connectivity, ensuring reliable and fast network and notifications. It features instant audio confirmation so merchants can hear payment confirmations immediately. Its devices include a powerful speaker that delivers clear audio, making it easy to hear even in busy environments. With a long-lasting battery life of up to 10 days, merchants can rely on it throughout the week without frequent charging.

Paytm Soundbox supports notifications in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bangla, Odia, Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada, meeting the needs of India’s diverse merchant population.

The Soundbox brings the power of Rupay Credit Card on UPI, offering zero MDR to small merchants for transactions under Rs. 2000. This service allows small businesses to save on transaction fees, expanding their profitability and making it easier to adopt digital payments.

Paytm Soundbox brings the power of Rupay Credit Card payments on UPI to merchants of all sizes, from rickshaw drivers and food & grocery delivery services to large retail stores. This helps merchants, from those with high transaction volumes to small-scale businesses, accept and confirm payments seamlessly without using their phones or apps. Together with NPCI, we are committed to expanding the UPI payment ecosystem in every nook and corner of India,” Paytm spokesperson shared.

Paytm through its lending partners, offer loans of up to Rs. 10 lakhs to merchants, facilitating their growth and expansion. This financial assistance is tailored to help scale operations, invest in inventory, or upgrade facilities. Additionally, the Paytm Soundbox accepts payments from all UPI apps, ensuring merchants can serve customers throughout India.
